Itsukushima Shrine (Hiroshima) I saw from the ferry what seemed to be many goddesses enshrined at the top of the mountain of Miyajima. I landed on the island, and folded my hands in front of the shrine which is beautiful, elegant yet austere. In that moment a sword with a white snake wrapping around it with a brute force. I was paralysed by its dominating presence.
